I would appreciate better documentation in future releases on how to call the extensions from a static block and if possible which parameters are available for the specific extension.

As far as I understand, for all the extensions you can activate the extension in the backend, and it will display on the frontpage. But as far as I can see you have no control on the order it will display on the page.

From my point of view it would be much more beneficial if the extensions were just called from static blocks, rather than defining the parameters in the backend. Allowing only a one time use of an extension that could be used for displaying both latest, popular, etc. products on different places on the site.

I hope the above makes sense and it's something you'll keep in mind...
