One Step Check-out Table rates in Magento 1.6.X

We discoverd some problems with the One Step Check-out
The table rates will not show up into the One Step Check-out.
Iff you add them in the shopping cart they will be add to the total, but when you go to the One Step Check-out
there are not added. This is tested in clean 1.6.1 Magento webshop without any extension and with demo database provide by Magento.

Could you please tell me iff the issue is know and what need to be done to solve it?
